army wives... not really popular but well done

New Post

Most people my age probably don't watch this show about wifes of soldiers serving in our army. The men are usually away and not portrayed much. This is about staying home with the kids, raising the family, and keeping a clean house. But there's a lot more to it, all of the fancy parties on Fort Marshall, the drama, affairs, pregnancies, and deaths. Despite what you might think, they don't have people dying every episode. If they did no one would be left. But spoiler alert Brigid Brannagh is leaving to start a spinoff show with Army Wive's guest star Gabrielle Union. On the last episode at the very end it showed a black car and two soldiers walking up to all four women together getting ready to tell one of them their husband is dead. Since Brigid is leaving and her character is starting to reconcile her marriage we can assume it is Chase who dies, prompting her to take the job in Georgia she had turned down and leave. But, maybe they'll throw a twist, I'm hoping that it isn't too predictable for those who know she is leaving. This show with its witty and comical banter and dramatic scenes is a must watch. But start with the beginning of last season, so you will know what is going on and who everybody is. I started watching it last season, I wish I had watched all four seasons. It's on lifetime sunday at 9 same time as Desperate Housewives, but you can always watch it on Hulu.
