New Post
Hi, yesterday new season premieres of Make it or Break it and Secret Life of the American Teenager came on abc family. If you missed them, wanna know what happened? With Make it or Break it Emily, Payson, and Lauren went to visit Kaylie at an eating disorder center where she she is currently staying. During the episode, a lot happens. Emily talks to her parol officer and she says to go to the Denver meet she has to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet. Payson gets a tip from Kelly Parker about where Sasha might be. Kaylie meets a friend in the center and finds out she is smarter than she looks. Lauren finds out her ex-boyfriend Carter now joined the Denver team. The best parts of the episode where when Payson's mom found Sasha and said goodbye, when Emily made a speech when they were doing a performance and everyone noticed her bracelet, and when Kaylie's friend told her she wasn't crazy. I think this could be a half hour show easy, too many lifeless scenes, definitely not worth watching on hulu.
Secret Life.... so confusing. All the couples are just irritating. It's like Beverly Hills, 90210 gone awry. Everyone has been with everyone and the show is unrealistic. There is nothing more to the show anymore than babies and sex. Adrianne just found out the sex of her baby with Ben. Ricky got tested for STDS. Grace and Grant waited over the summer and just now decided they want to have sex. Madison met a new guy at work who is in high school too, the catch is he is twenty and was her boss. Lauren gets dumped by Jesse, (the only practical thing of the show, his reason was that he was going off to college next year and didn't think they would last), ashley decides to be homeschooled. Also, Beverly Mitchell from Seventh Heaven guest stars as the guidance counselor. One scene where she runs into Mackenzie Rosman (aka Ruthie from Seventh Heaven, but is guest starring as one of Ricky's old flames) is the only thing that made me laugh. I miss the funny banter between Ashley and her Dad. Both shows have gone down the toilet, as much as you might want to hold on to them, don't bother. It's a waste of time, and I watch a lot of lousy tv shows, so that means something from me.
Stay tuned for a review of Glee and Body Proof tomorrow. Body Proof series premiere is tonight at 10 on abc family. It is about a former surgeon who has to become a medical examiner after an accident leaves her unable to operate. Dana Delany stars as cut throat Megan Hunt. To me, this sounds almost like a carbon copy of Bones, (I wonder if there will be a Booth or Hodgens too?). I can tell this show will either be a great hit or a huge flop. That's all I am divulging for now....
