army wives.... with a twist

New Post

Just saw the latest episode last night. They revealed who had been killed off of the show and suprisingly it wasn't Chase. It would have been predictable for it to be him because he plays Brigid Brannagh's husband and she is leaving the show. But, Catherine Bell (who plays Denise Sherwood) lost her son. Her husband Frank (also in the army) came back for the funeral. Not watching the show until last season I didn't know who he was, but everyone had fond memories of him. They showed a viewing of him and the last few moments are the hardest to watch where Denise and Frank are walking the long path home with their friends. He was like a brother to Claudia Joy's daughter Evelyn and she made a great speech about him at the funeral. Roland flashes back to when Jeremy (the guy who died) gave him a special coin right before he was about to deploy for the first time. He wonders whether he could have stopped Jeremy from going out on that day. Jeremy's fiance (also in the army) was heartbroken. They had only known each other for two months but they spent every waking minute together since they met in the army. The acting was well done, not too dramatic, but not lacking emotion. Denise, being his mother was obviously the most upset but everyone put on a convincing performance. I think it was really good, and FOR ONCE NOT PREDICTABLE LIKE EVERY OTHER TV SHOW OUT THERE. Finally,  Make it or Break It and The Secret Life of An American Teenager premiere tonight on abc family at 8pm and 9 pm. I will put up reviews for those shows as soon as possible.... stay tuned
