movie review

New Post

I just saw conviction last night staring Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell. It was about Betty Ann Watter who went to college and law school to try and get her brother Kenny out of jail. Kenny was given life without parole for a murder he says he didn't commit. This is based on a true story. Betty Ann basically gives up her life for her brother and has the help of her friend, played by Minnie Driver. This movie isn't a happy one, but tells a fascinating story. It is rated R only because the f word is used and they show Kenny's butt briefly. I would give it four out of fivc stars with my only critique being it was on the long side, but that was what actually happened. Definitely worth seeing, but like any movie, you have to be in the right mood to watch it.
