New Chapter of Double Life

Mitch sits with his supposed family on Christmas morning feeling very out of place. He just got out of the hospital yesterday so he could spend the holidays with his family. He doesn't even remember what christmas was like when he was a boy. Seeing his kids open up presents and the smiles on their faces, he feels odd. Maybe that is because the presents marked from mom and dad or just from him he has no recollection of buying or wrapping. And he is grateful he has presents to open but they seems like such personal gifts. He doesn't know what sport teams he likes or whether he's the world greatest Dad or what music he likes. He has to figure that out all over again. He bits on a piece of his caramel santa and cringes. The caramel tastes horrid to him and he spits it out into his napkin. He's going to have a lot of cringe moments to come, this is just the beginning.
