"Double Life"

A man sprints by a crowd full of people. His mind is racing with thoughts, but that isn't unusual for him. He enters the apartment building at the end of 21st street and presses the elevator button. He is still able to hear the noise and buzz of people running about New York City. He gets in the elevator and checks his watch. It is 12:17 and he had some explaining to do. He retrieves his key from the back pocket of his jeans and walks into apartment 21C. A woman says "Aaron, you're finally home where the hell have you been? You were gone all night and you missed your own daughter's first soccer game of the season." He begins to explain, answering very carefully setting up the perfect stretch of lies. Why not just tell the truth, because he will have to do this all over again tomorrow.
